  • Super Heavy booster: 33-engine cluster, grid fins, boostback and landing burns
  • Starship upper stage: Raptor engines, hexagonal heat shield tiles, lunar transit capability
  • Full mission phases: liftoff → MECO → stage separation → booster return → TLI → lunar orbit → Earth return

Open Starship Simulation

Interactive 3D simulation of a two-stage reusable rocket — liftoff, stage separation, booster landing, trans-lunar injection, and Earth return.

About This Simulation

Built with Three.js, this simulation models the full mission profile of a Starship-class two-stage reusable rocket:

  • Super Heavy booster: 33-engine cluster, grid fins, boostback and landing burns
  • Starship upper stage: Raptor engines, hexagonal heat shield tiles, lunar transit capability
  • Full mission phases: liftoff → MECO → stage separation → booster return → TLI → lunar orbit → Earth return
  • Keyboard controls: Space play/pause · R reset · V toggle follow camera
